1. What we collect

Account information: your email address and sign-in method (email/password or Google).

Content you submit: video URLs, uploaded video files, transcripts, captions, and the clips and AI videos you create.

Usage data: plan, clip and AI-video counts, job statuses, and basic technical logs used to run and secure the service.

Payment data: card details are handled entirely by Stripe — we never see or store your full card number.

2. How we use it

To provide the service: processing your videos, rendering clips, storing your library, and enforcing plan limits.

To manage your subscription and communicate with you about your account (receipts, important service notices).

To improve reliability, prevent abuse, and keep the service secure.

We do not sell your personal data and we do not use your private videos to advertise to others.

3. Where your data lives

Your account data, projects and clips are stored on our cloud database and private file storage. Videos and clips are private to your account and protected by sign-in.

Video processing is handled by our dedicated render infrastructure. Source videos are deleted automatically after a retention period; your finished clips stay in your library until you delete them.

4. Third-party services

Stripe processes payments. Google provides optional sign-in. These providers process data under their own privacy policies.

When you submit a video URL, the video is fetched from the source platform (for example YouTube or Twitch) so it can be processed.

5. Your choices

You can delete individual clips and projects from the studio at any time.

To delete your account and associated data, contact support@myclipai.com.

You can cancel your subscription anytime from the billing page; your data remains available while your account is active.

6. Data retention and security

We keep your data while your account is active. Temporary processing files are removed automatically. Backups and logs are retained for a limited period for reliability and security.

We use encryption in transit, private storage, and access controls to protect your data. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information.

7. Children

The service is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data.

8. Changes and contact

We may update this policy from time to time; material changes will be announced on this page before they take effect.
